Time for a little showing off! Super chuffed to be able to show you guys some lovely packaging and swing tags we whipped up for the lovely ladies at Bec + Bridge. To say we are in love with that silver foiling is a whopping understatement. After designing some brand new collateral for their first flagship store opening, we had a chat with the girls about the importance of great branding.
- HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THE LOOK AND FEEL OF BEC + BRIDGE IN FIVE WORDS?
BEC: A mix of fresh, feminine and chic yet fun and relaxed.
- HOW IMPORTANT IS THE BRANDING OF BEC + BRIDGE, TO THE SUCCESS OF THE BRAND?
BRIDGE: Branding elevates your business and takes it to the next level when it’s done right. From your logo and your retail bags to your website and social media strategy – it’s really important that your branding complements your overall vision. For us personally, branding has definitely helped the success of our business – it shows the Bec + Bridge girl who we are and what our brand is about visually.
- WHY DO YOU TAKE PRIDE AND PUT EFFORT INTO THE WAY IN WHICH YOUR CUSTOMERS RECEIVE THIER PARCELS?
BEC: Our girl loves the overall brand experience – she expects it from us and we love to deliver on that. We want her to see how fun and feminine Bec + Bridge is. From walking into our beautiful new retail store, or shopping online for a new party dress, to following our travels on Instagram and watching our runway shows live online – it’s important that every pillar of the business gives our customer a Bec + Bridge experience that reflects who we are. This is why we take great pride in making sure our parcels are sent out in an on-brand way. It’s important to make the effort across all aspects of our business.
- WHAT’S THE BIGGEST LESSON YOU’VE LEARNT IN THE BRANDING/GRAPHIC SPACE OF YOUR BUSINESS?
BRIDGE: Be true to your brand and own your space. Every brand is different and your design should reflect your brand’s personality and image.
BEC: We have also continued to develop our branding and graphic design over the last 15 years. Don’t be afraid to update your branding and keep looking forward.
