Vancouver Candle Co. are purveyors of premium, artisanal home fragrances and accessories. As their brand partners, we worked together with the VCC team to create an entire new collection concept, brand identity, packaging system and online store. The complete aesthetic overhaul not only upholds the VCC brand values, but builds and maintains brand credibility and loyalty and attracts a whole new market in a cohesive and approachable manner.

While trying to expand their brand into a global market, Vancouver Candle Co. realised they needed a collection theme that wasn’t bound by location. We worked with the VCC team to develop a collection concept that evokes warmth and emotion - paying homage to the memories associated with the scent. This is ‘The Discovery Collection’.
The goal for the new online platform was to capture the essence of the brand through emotive imagery, expressive typography and dynamic layouts. Our design takes you on an artful and seamless user journey through the collections, immersing you in the creative curation of fragrances.
After experiencing growth within their business, the Vancouver Candle Co. team were in need of an updated visual identity. By exploring a modernised typeface and the addition of a clean, sans serif sub-typeface, we developed a clean, timeless and striking visual experience. This elevated branding was then rolled out across all additional collateral, packaging and digital mediums.

We really enjoy working with the creatives at SBD. What started off as a new collection launch, morphed into a full rebrand and refresh of all our packaging and website.
